A recognised Australian expert on converting the “price shopper”, Doug is in demand as a speaker on sales, service and memory who is entertaining and down to earth with a focus on results.

Doug has over 20 years experience in sales, sales management, general management, recruitment and training. He won a number of national sales awards during his 10 years with Yellow Pages including the Distinguished Management Award for the top sales team in Australia.

 

He holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and a Diploma in Training & Assessment.

 

As Australian General Manager and C.E.O. for Kelly Personnel during the last recession he gained the valuable experiences of selling and managing in tough times.

 

In 1991, he established Performance Edge Systems Pty. Ltd. where he has personally provided consulting, recruiting and training services to a wide range of industries, both in Australia and overseas.  Most of the training programs used by Performance Edge, have been written by Doug.

 

He is a Past President of the National Speakers Association of Australia (NSAA) NSW Chapter, has delivered over 1,000 presentations and holds the qualification of Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) from the NSAA.  He organised and spoke at two of the associations most visible events over the last few years - The Art of Speaking and The Art of Marketing You.  Other speaking engagements include the Australian Telemarketing and Call Centre Association, the Self Storage Association and the skin care, fitness and hospitality industries.
