Grant Hyman
Sales Technician

In his coaching and training work, Grant Hyman is initially similar to a doctor – “no-one sees the doctor when they’re healthy, and similarly, no-one calls me when their sales are healthy”, he says.

Then, once Grant is appointed, he becomes the sales technician for the company as he works through the nuts and bolts of the situation to fix the challenges that are holding sales back.

Having achieved that, Grant then leads his client team into the growth outcomes that they are aiming for, using a combination of sensitive coaching, aggressive motivation and a close watch on staff and customer interactions to ensure that his client's market positioning is properly tuned to their target buyers' needs and expectations.

In the speaking world, Grant’s work is no different and Coyote management recommend Grant where our client needs real sales results from their presenter/MC.

Grant displays an empathy borne of almost three decades of successful sales  and management experience and the works with clients prior to the presentation to ensure alignment between managements requirements and sales people's expectations and drivers, so as to deliver the outcomes that management expect of a ‘nuts and bolts’ speaker.

Some of Grant's individual in-field Sales achievements, in addition to local and national management roles –

·       IBM Gold Badge (the highest award available in the area of Grant's speciality).

·       Canon Australia - Top National Divisional Rep of the Year 5 times in 6 consecutive sales years.

·       ACI-CS (at the time, Australia's biggest IBM reseller and IBM-based bureau) - constantly appearing in the Top 3 in both revenue and profit and the only sales rep nationally to ever achieve the Non-Sales Best and Fairest award.

·       Director's Club in Network Marketing despite joining post-launch with no existing team (no-one else did it).

·       Industrial chemical sales - achieved the rare distinction of selling "a 205" (a 205 litre/44 gallon drum of concentrated solvent) to a city-based company.

Whilst Grant also has experience as a Sales Manager at Local and National levels, he retains the joy in face-to-face selling. He has shared his expertise via written articles for various business audiences, in addition to having been a guest business speaker on radio, as well as addressing various student groups (both at MBA and Secondary-School Commerce levels) on aspects of business and sales. Grant has also been a Mentor in the NSW Government's Western Sydney Stepping Up Program. He currently writes for a popular online magazine and is available as a Motivational Speaker for your next Conference or Kickoff !
