Hipnosis Is an exciting, highly versatile and experienced Sydney function band who are renowned for providing quality entertainment at corporate functions, weddings and special events.

 

Their substantial repertoire includes a wide selection of styles to suit all occasions:

·       Disco favourites

·       Rock

·       Pop

·       Funk

·       R & B

·       Latin

·       Soul

·       Motown

·       Jazz

·       Dinner music

·       songs from the Big Band era; and of course

·       all the dance party favourites from the seventies, eighties, nineties and current.

 

The band has a promotional DVD, available to clients on request. It features live footage of a function filmed at Star City, mixed and edited at Fox Studios in Sydney.

Is there a smaller band size?

Yes, the band is available from a 4 piece to a 10 piece.

 

What are the instrumentation options for the band?

a) 4 piece band: Vocals (male and female) keyboards, guitar, bass and drums. b) Larger band sizes may include: sax/s, trumpet/s, trombone/s, percussion, guitar, vocals.

 

Will the band travel to perform?

The band will travel overseas, interstate, intrastate and are based in Sydney. Loading applies

 

Does the band “dress up” for themed nights?

Yes, they can accommodate most reasonable requests.

 

What sorts of events does the band do?

Cocktail parties, “significant birthday” parties, Awards nights, Gala Dinners, Weddings, Product launches, Cast Parties, Corporate Christmas parties, School formals, Festivals, Debutant balls, Sporting events.

 

How much music does the band play?

In a night, usually a cruisy dinner set followed by three solid dance sets. (sets run between 40-45 mins.)

 

Does the band have a microphone for announcements and speeches?

Yes, a wired microphone. (radio mics can also be hired and connected to their sound system if needed)

 

What do we do for music in between band sets?

No problem, the band has a CD player with its sound system and we play CD’s in the band breaks. (You may wish to burn your own CD’s for this purpose.)
