Julia Palmer is the Managing Director of BConsulted and specialist networking trainer, speaker and author with over 10 years corporate networking experience and over 20 years customer service and sales experience. She has attended thousands of senior level events around the globe; assisting business professionals achieve their networking goals.
Julia is a Certified Trainer and in addition has five International Advanced Certifications; Master Practitioner of NLP, Master Results Coach, Advanced Neurological Re-Patterning™, Master Hypnosis and Performance Consultant.
Julia has held senior level management positions in multinational organisations throughout her career spanning Sydney, London, Stockholm, Copenhagen and Singapore. Each position and experience highlights her business acumen and her highly developed managerial, communication, interpersonal and sales skills. Her clients have included; HP, IBM, Nortel Networks, PWC, SAP, and UBS to name a few. Most recently Julia was responsible for partnerships at the State Chamber of Commerce (NSW) she managed a portfolio of 25 respected companies including Vodafone, Qantas, Holden, PGA, ABC Asia Pacific, Overture and C&UB.
Julia’s entrepreneurial spirit motivates her to take on new business challenges. Founded in 2002, today BConsulted, is one of Australia’s leading networking consultancy, offering training through a liberating formula to empower its clients to maximise every networking opportunity and make a lasting positive change to their communication and relationship skills. Clients from Fortune 500 to small business have experienced greater levels of success both personally and professionally as a result. Julia writes a variety of networking articles for media, produces a weekly Buzz Bulletin, filled with networking facts and inspirational quotes and manages an International Networking Blog.
Julia Palmer graduated from the Business Faculty with a Bachelor of Management in Leisure from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia. She has continued her personal development throughout her career in sales, management and as a trainer, the most up to date, being the latest Certificate IV, in Training and Assessment (40104).
Julia is a volunteer representative of the Management Executive for the Asher Foundation, Representative of the Events Committee at the American Club and regular MC of ‘The Professionals’ Breakfast Series. A born networker, her favourite leisure activities include dinner parties with friends, outdoor activities and travelling.
