Success comes with fluidity and adaptation. Like water moving through rapids, the same principle applies to any situation involving people, including; sales, negotiation, conflict resolution, leadership and even parenting - it's not about an easier path . . . just a better one. The author of WAVEMAN, Robert Redenbach draws from extreme experiences in South Africa and Iraq to provide alternatives, better ways of moving from A to B.
Since 1994 Rob Redenbach has been providing world-class presentations and interactive training to elite military and law enforcement agencies as well as business audiences from a diverse range of industries. Combine this with 'real world' experience which includes working with the bodyguard team of Nelson Mandela in South Africa and providing armed security on the streets of Baghdad, Iraq, and you have a professional speaker guaranteed to stand out from the crowd.
Consistently rated in the top 90% bracket by conference delegates, Rob's signature presentation The Path Of Least Resistance brings to life the extraordinary experiences described in his autobiography: Waveman.
Born in a Victorian country town in 1963, Robert Redenbach spent six years in the Australian army (1981-87) before pursuing a career in the security industry. He has studied martial arts extensively throughout Asia, managed a security company in Papua New Guinea and between 1994 and 1998 he lived in South Africa where he was the senior defensive tactics instructor of Nelson Mandela's Presidential Protection Unit. He has lectured as a guest speaker at the FBI Academy at Quantico, Virginia, provided unarmed combat training to British and European Special Forces and during the build-up to the Sydney Olympic Games, he taught conflict resolution techniques to instructors from the Australian Federal Police and the Australian SAS. Still involved in the security industry on a select basis, his field experience includes a three month assignment in Iraq (2005), where he provided armed protection to volunteers from not-for-profit organisations involved in writing the new Iraqi Constitution.
A recipient of the Australian Service Medal, Rob lives with his family on the Gold Coast.
