The Tongue ‘n’ Cheek Showband are the hottest act to hit the circuit. Being hailed as “The most entertaining Showband in Australia” in a recent revue by The What’s On Gig Guide, they are rapidly making a name for themselves here and overseas.

 

A very versatile 4 piece, featuring Kaz Anderson, an internationally acclaimed performer and a unique singer with a natural flair for comedy, brings her warped perception of  Chrissie Amphlett from The Divinyls, Madonna and Magenta from Rocky Horror to name a few. Christine Clarke plucked right out of Lambeth Bennett’s Gospel Choir by the S.W.A.T helicopter, to shine as Tina Turner, Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Little Nell from Rocky Horror and more. Clinton Lowe – spotted singing in a club in Terrigal and promptly taken hostage to star as Peter Garret, Austin Powers, Paul McCartney and Frank’n’Furter himself amongst other icons. Last but by no means least – Geoff Anderson will have you splitting your sides with laughter as the Naughty Nun, Abba’s Bjorn, Riff Raff and so on. 

This is an energy packed show of the highest calibre and the band have notched up some major gigs under their belt including ‘ Dinner with the Stars’ with some of the hosts of The Footy Show, Corporate Christmas party for Aristocrats Poker Machines to name a couple. The Tongue ‘n’ Cheek Showband are so popular with their audiences, people have complained about bladder problems because they won’t even go to the restroom just in case they miss something.
